BIPA or Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing is the Indonesian language learning program specifically designed for non-native speakers. With BIPA, you can learn Bahasa Indonesia online from the comfort of your home or office. Our platform is designed to help learners understand Indonesian language and culture using a variety of pedagogical approaches.

Furthermore, the program is in compliance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 27 of 2017. BIPA is one of language course programs aiming to promote bahasa Indonesia to be an international language as well as to meet the needs of foreign workers or students for learning bahasa Indonesia.

Elementary (BIPA 1 & BIPA 2)

Students will learn basic daily conversation enhanced with cultural awareness to improve communication skills in various contexts. At the end of this program, Students will have basic competence to communicate in bahasa Indonesia confidently.

Intermediate (BIPA 3 & BIPA 4)

Students can improve their bahasa Indonesia competence by means of discussion, oral presentation, and descriptive writing. Students will be introduced to a variety of important language functions, including commands, offers, refusals, and invitations.

Advanced (BIPA 5 & BIPA 6)

Students will be involved in discussions and writing essay related to education, society and culture, economy, politics, and current issues in Indonesia. At the end of this program, students are able to write reports.

BIPA Regular

The Regular BIPA Program is a 250-lesson hours BIPA program with focuses on four language skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing), and Grammar as well as Indonesian social cultural. It can be taken in 6 months. The number of participants in one class is at least 5 people. This program is available online and offline.

  • 1 Level | 250 Lesson Hours | 4 months | 50 Meetings
  • 2 Session every Monday – Thursday
  • 1 Session @90 minutes (2 Lesson Hours)
  • Session I : 09:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (GMT +7)
  • Session II : 11:30 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. (GMT +7)
  • Course rate/person IDR 17,750,000*

Study Period*

  • 21st February – 28th May
  • 10th June – 4th September
  • 23th September – 17th December

3-Month BIPA Program

  • 52 Lesson Hours | 3 Months | 26 Meetings | min. 5 people
  • Every Wednesday and Friday
  • 1 Session @90 minutes (2 Lesson Hours)
  • 01:30 p.m. – 03:00 p.m. (GMT +7)
  • Course rate/person IDR 8,250,000*

Study Period*

  • 21st February – 31st May
  • 5th June – 30th September
  • 4th September -29th December

Weekend BIPA Program

  • 52 Lesson Hours | 4 Months | 13 Meetings | min. 5 people
  • 2 Session every Saturday
  • 1 Session @90 minutes (2 Lesson Hours)
  • Session 1 : 09:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (GMT +7)
  • Session 2 : 11:30 a.m. – 01:00 p.m. (GMT +7)
  • Course rate/person IDR 9,000,000*

Study Period*

  • 24th February – 25th May
  • 8th June – 7th September
  • 21st September -14th December

Private BIPA Program

This program is intended for foreign speakers who want to learn bahasa Indonesia in private for specific purposes with a minimum of 30 lesson hours. This program is available online and offline.
